Since 2020 cookbooks club have been growing with online groups and in person clubs. These clubs are way to socialize, save on meals, and learn new cooking techniques for home cooks and chefs. Cookbook clubs create a sense of community and connection and an opportunity to make new friends with similar interests.


Eating out can be expensive and cookbook clubs can be a way to get an expensive meal at a quarter of the cost. It can be a way for home cooks and chefs to connect with customers and cookbook readers. Often in cookbooks clubs they pick one book and member get to make and try different recipes. It's a chance to learn new culinary techniques for beginners and experienced cooks and try some new cuisines.

A cookbook club is group of people that like to cook that meet regularly to discuss a cookbook and make recipes from it to try. The club usually chooses one cookbook for everyone to read . Each person in the club is responsible for making at least one recipe. Many home cooks have recipe clubs and even professional chefs participate in them. It gives members a chance to learn new cooking techniques and try different cuisines. The cost is less than dining out.

Choosing A Cookbook and Keeping the Club Interesting


If your club is for beginner chefs you might want to choose a basic cooking book where members can learn the basics of cooking. When choosing a cookbook perhaps take a copy out of the library and have members review the recipes before you purchase a copy. Try to make sure everyone likes the recipes and is willing to make at least one or two.
