This year consumers will be making traditional recipes,
but some will use global recipes and spices. Cooking turkey with a variety of seasonings is now a popular trend. A Cajun turkey will often be spicy and hot often using dried and fresh herbs. Consumer roast turkey with a variety of seasonings like cranberry orange glaze, tandoori turkey marinated in a spicy yogurt sauce, or maple roasted turkey with bacon.

Side dishes have changed we have glazed sweet potato casserole, spiked cranberry sauce, roasted green beans with beets, and sweet potato mac and cheese. Consumer eat more fresh produce and lighter side dishes.

Many consumers like to eat at restaurants close to home for convenience. They chose fast food, traditional restaurants, to upscale establishments. Ordering meals and having it delivered or picking it make the holiday more peaceful and enjoyable for everyone.
